He’s a biker. She’s a Sheriff.
She’s in his world now, even if she doesn’t want to be…
The conclusion of Zeek and Jillian’s epic biker romance is
I’m an outlaw. I don’t fall in love and I sure as fuck don’t run… Until Jillian McAdams.
I fell for a law abiding Sheriff, breaking my vows to my own club, and turning her against her family of blue.An outlaw and a sheriff, it can only end in one way… Mayhem.
Now we both have to pay the ultimate price for betraying our families.
I swore to kill my brother, his allegiance sworn to another club, if I ever saw him again.
Yet here I am running to him in hopes to save Jillian’s life…
We both will have to rewrite the rules we know to stay alive.
Even if it means we lose everything we had in doing so…
“Just—Just get in the shower,” he mutters, pulling back the shower curtain.
“Why are you doing all this?”
A pensive look crosses his face. “All of what?”
“This!” I wave my hands around. “Holding that nice old couple at gunpoint, in here with me. All of it?”
His eyes rake over me, and he shrugs. “So you could shower.”
“So you kidnapped a little old couple so I could shower?”
It’s wrong, so wrong. Yet, I feel my chest tighten with longing and adoration. I like it. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? I can’t help my attraction to him. His stare is cold, his calloused hands rough, but his draw is soft and alluring.
“You going to get in?” He flicks a brow at me.

Mercy was a highly anticipated book to be released for me. I needed the next installment of Zeek and Jillian’s story. Couldn’t wait to find out what happened next after the cliffhanger we were left with!
So Mercy carries on from where Reign ended. Zeek has been tricked by his uncle who has been trying to take his place as the president of The Outlaws, and has shot Jillian’s father, not knowing who he was when he did it. To save Jillian from also being hurt, Zeek throws her into her cruiser and they are off. On the run, wanted by the law, as things have been twisted and it is made out that Jillian is the one who killed her father.
Jillian is devastated. The man she loves has killed her father and she is the one wanted for it. She wants to turn back. Go to her department, explain what really happened, clear things up. She just cant comprehend what Zeek tells her, that the department is corrupt, they are under his uncle’s thumb and that it won’t accomplish anything but her being captured and tortured, possibly killed. Jillian is so conflicted, how can you hate someone so much, but also love them more than anything.
Zeek needs help. He needs to get his MC club back. Will people forgive him though for picking a woman, a sheriff, over his club, over his brothers? How does he go about getting his and Jillian’s lives back to normal? Zeek can only think of one person who may be able to help him, but it is a huge risk. Going to his brother Lip, and asking for his and his club, Devils Dusts help. Zeek and his brother don’t get along, their relationship is tumultuous to say the least, after Zeek killed one of Devils Dusts brothers things are even worse, but they are Zeek’s last resort.
Will Lip help his brother? Can Zeek get his club back and the woman he loves, madly, to forgive him? Or are things just too messed up to be able to fix?
So woah……..the chemistry between Zeek and Jillian is still as HOT and palpable as it was in Reign, despite Jillian hating on him a little because he killed her father. Reading about these two together definitely gives your tummy butterflies. Despite everything they have to go through, their draw to each other is just too strong, and when they are together intimately…..you without a doubt get hot under the collar reading it.
Jillian seems a little naive to me in this second installment of the series in the beginning. Being the intelligent sheriff that she is and not being able to comprehend that her department and her father were crook. When she finally starts to believe, bam, the story got started for me and I loved when there were times that she had to break the law to get along.
This is a fast paced story. So much happens. It’s edgy, keeps you on the edge of your seat because you just can’t even try to guess what is coming up. There are some heart in your throat moments and close calls. I also found it to be a highly emotional story. Mercy definitely throws your emotions for a loop with all the turmoil and obstacles that are faced and overcome.
Mercy is written from dual point of view. It is full of action and intense confrontations. I thought Reign couldn’t be topped but Mercy blew it out of the park. MC romance stories are not a regular for me as I don’t always understand everything that goes on but the Sin City Outlaws series is definitely one I will return to and read over again.
Towards the end of this book, the storyline made me think there could be a third book for Zeek and Jillian, although I have heard nothing to state so, I would love it if there was, I feel there is a ready storyline and serious potential for another amazing book for these two characters, who I feel, are the top of the MC romance book charts!!
Haven’t met Zeek & Jillian yet?
